2025 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING JULY 22ND - REPORT

WELCOME TO THE HILLMAN OWNERS CLUB

The Hillman Owners Club was formed in 1980 to look after the needs of enthusiasts of the Hillman marque and derived cars such as the Chrysler, Talbot, Avenger, Hunter and Sunbeam vehicles, together with export models and the Commer and Karrier commercials. The club is run on a non-profit basis by a team of voluntary committee members and is focused on helping members enjoy their cars and the company of other like-minded owners.

Membership is open to any Hillman enthusiast, whether they own a vehicle of the marque or not. We also welcome overseas members, especially from Australia, New Zealand and the USA which were all strong export markets for Rootes epecially in the 1950's and 1960's. The club is a supporter of The Rootes Archive Centre Trust which is the guardian of all the design drawings thankfully recovered from Peugot. These are becoming more and more valuable in helping to remanufacture items to the correct specifications.
